Terms & Conditions
Completion of a booking form does not constitute a binding contract until payment has been received and the booking is confirmed by Worcester Indoor Karting.
Confirmation of the booking by Worcester Indoor Karting shall create a binding contract between the person named as the organiser and Worcester Indoor Karting subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
No variation of these terms and conditions shall be binding on Worcester Indoor Karting unless in writing and signed by a Director of Worcester Indoor Karting. No relaxation or indulgence which Worcester Indoor Karting may from time to time extend to the organiser shall in any way predjudice or act as a waiver of Worcester Indoor Karting’s rights hereunder.
All bookings must be accompanied with a £10 per participating driver upon booking. Laser Combat bookings are subject to a 50% deposit.
All deposits received are non refundable.
All exclusive bookings must be paid in full 7 days before the event date unless prior agreement has been authorised.
The organiser is liable for the full event fees for the use of the activity for the number of participants booked, even if fewer participants attend on the day.
Worcester Indoor Karting do not accept cheque payment.
If the booking is cancelled by the organiser less than 7 days prior to the event the full event fees are payable.
Event fees will not be refunded to any participant because that participant fails to attend or is withdrawn from the activity for any reason.
Drivers and Players
Participants must not consume alcohol for at least 12 hours before the event.
Management reserves the right to refuse entry and/or to ban participants from the centre for any reason whatsoever at its sole discretion. Any person considered by the circuits management to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs – either medicated or illegal will not be allowed to take part in the activities.
All drivers over the age of 12 years are required to wear a suitable head covering under our helmets. Drivers can provide their own suitable covering or can purchase a balaclava at reception for £3 each prior to all track sessions.
All drivers racing in our ‘Adult’ karts must be 14 years of age or older with a minimum height of 158cm. Drivers racing in our ‘Junior’ karts bust be aged 8-13 years with a minimum height of 132cm. Some children who reach this minimum height may not be eligible to drive if they fail the kart fitting.
All drivers under the age of 16 years must be accompanied at all times.
If you are unsure of any drivers suitability due to weight, height or other please contact Worcester Indoor Karting for clarification in plenty of time before the booking.
All drivers are required to wear closed shoes – no open toed shoes, flip flops or heels are permitted. Drivers wearing unsuitable footwear will be refused entry to the circuit.
All long hair must be tied up.
Adults and children are not allowed on the trac at the same unless they are family members or like minded groups. This is at the sole discretion of the management team.
Track sessions that are advertised as laps still have time limits applied in situations where drivers are extremely slow around the circuit. This is to prevent the circuit from running behind. For example an Iron Man session has a maximum running time of 45 minutes.
Only food and drink purchased onsite is to be consumed within the premises.
Late arrivals and no shows
Bookings may be transferable at the discretion of management only. Bookings are non refundable. Sessions cannot be refunded, re-booked or re-used for drivers who fail to attend.
For insurance reasons, drivers arriving after the safety briefing has commenced are not allowed to race and will not receive any refund.
Where an exclusive event is delayed due to late arrivals, management at their sole discretion and on request of the organiser may delay the safety briefing. In such cases the event will be shortened to make up for lost time.
Force Majeure and limitation
Where the event is prevented, frustrated or delayed due to force majeure (including but not limited to riot, strikes, natural catastrophe, power failure, fire or accident to plant or machinery) or any other cause beyond its control, Worcester Indoor Karting’s liability shall be limited to refunding or (at Worcester Indoor Karting’s option) re-schedule the event to a future date convenient to all parties. Delays caused by accidents or poor driving on the track will not be refundale or re-scheduled.
Worcester Indoor Karting have the right to terminate without notice your activity if your behaviour or that of any member of your group is deemed as violent, likely to cause damage, distress or annoyance to other customers, employees, property or anyone else. In this instance Worcester Indoor Karting will not be liable for any refunds, compensation or expenses.
Worcester Indoor Karting shall not be under any liability whatsoever for direct losses, loss of profits, indirect losses or consequential losses of any type caused directly or indirectly by Worcester Indoor Karting, its sub contractors, servants, agents or employees (other than liability by Statute that cannot be avoided) and its maximum liability shall in all cases be limited to the total amount of money paid for the event.
Notwithstanding the generality of the above, please note that all events are live events and may overrun due to unforseen delays. Any quoted ‘end time’ is a per estimate for guidance only.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your session start time to ensure you have enough time to sign in and complete your safety briefing.
We use smoke machines and flashing lights within the Laser Combat arena so this activity may not be suitable for players who are sensitive to these.
Race suits, helmets and gloves are provided in a variety of sizes. Please note that drivers who bring their own helmets should be aware that we only accept ISO safety stamped full face helmets with clear visors or goggles.
